April 17th: A perfect morning
What a way to spend the day.
We started by sleeping in until 10, making up a bit for a night’s lost sleep. From there we ambled down to the local Valor for the Breakfast of Champions, a cup of chocolate and an order of Churros. It was easy to find the place today, having much clearer heads after some sleep.
Next we explored the paseo along the Río Guadalquivir and after taking a brief shady rest in a neighborhood parque, we’re sitting in Starbucks having iced drinks and watching the endless stream of carriages, tourists and beautiful young women in flamenco dress. Such is Sevilla during Feria de Abril.
It’s hot - 84F - but spending the day strolling from shady spot to shady spot seems like the perfect thing to so.
